Zoom Whitening Procedure

The first step is to cover your lips and gums with a protective covering, only revealing your teeth. The whitening gel will then be applied to your teeth for 15 minutes by your orthodontist. To remove stains from your teeth, a specific lamp in conjunction with the hydrogen peroxide Zoom whitening gel is used. Every 15 minutes, more gel is applied. The procedure lasts about 45 mins.

The gel is then removed, and a different gel is used to decrease sensitivity after the whitening process is complete. You will get a touch-up kit as well as advice from your orthodontist on which foods you can eat and drink before leaving. It’s good practice to have your teeth professionally cleaned before undergoing Zoom whitening, according to dentists.

Is Zoom Whitening right for you?

Teeth whitening is beneficial to almost everyone, but the treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Zoom dental treatments are most successful in treating yellow discoloration from smoking, dark soda, tea, coffee, wine, or age. You may still notice a difference if your teeth have a gray tint from tetracycline or any other medicines, although the results might be less apparent. During your personalized shade assessment, your dentist will be able to determine the ideal amount of whitening for your unique smile.
