Please Note:
1. Fit Not Guaranteed
Replacement retainers are fabricated based on your most recent scan on file. Because teeth can shift over time—even with consistent retainer wear—we cannot guarantee an exact fit.
2. If the Retainer Does Not Fit
If your mailed retainer does not seat fully or comfortably after attempting proper placement, you will need to schedule an in-office appointment for a new scan.
3. Initial Tightness Is Normal
A new retainer may feel tighter than your previous one. Over time, retainers can slightly stretch, making them feel looser. Mild tightness with a new retainer is expected.
We recommend wearing the new retainer full-time (except while eating and brushing) for several days until it feels more comfortable.
4. When to Contact the Office
If the retainer does not fully seat, causes significant pain, or you are unsure whether the fit is appropriate, please contact our office before discontinuing use.
