Growing up, I always had a passion for science and medicine as well strong creative interests in design and aesthetics. Orthodontics is the perfect field for me because I not only create functional, healthy smiles but also beautiful smiles that help balance facial aesthetics. While I treat patients of all ages, I really love that I can be a positive influence on many adolescents during a very influential time in their lives. I cherish the opportunity to help people in my own community and enjoy getting to know them during their treatment. A career in orthodontics has given me the opportunity to increase self-confidence by designing smiles that everyone is proud to show off. Being able to affect others in such a way is truly a gift.

Personal

I grew up in St. Charles, MO with my parents and two sisters who I am lucky to have a very close relationship with. Fortunately, my entire family still lives in St. Louis and I enjoy spending my free time with my parents, sisters, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. My husband A.J. and I have three wonderful daughters of our own- Scarlett, Sloane and Teddi. When my husband and I are not running the practice, we love to travel with our daughters, try out new restaurants and spend time with friends and family.

I love orthodontics. It’s a science and an art, and I’m proud to be in this field. Designing and creating gorgeous smiles is an artistic outlet for me, and I love working with all kinds of people to create their best smiles and watch their confidence grow. It doesn’t matter how complex the case is. We can do this, together.

Personal

I grew up in Manchester, Iowa, in a big family. My husband, Nick, and I now live in Webster Groves with our daughters, Ava and Knox, and love the community there. I love hanging out with family, exploring the STL food scene, being active, and practicing pretty much any type of art.

Since dental school, Dr. Larkin has always been very involved in the efforts of organized dentistry. He feels this involvement is necessary to protect the integrity of the profession to ensure positive patient outcomes. Dr. Larkin practices with this same fervor in helping his patients achieve a smile that portrays confidence and beauty throughout their lives.

Personal

Born and raised in southwestern Kansas, the Midwest is home to Dr. Andy Larkin. Dr. Larkin and his wife, Kim, love spending time outdoors with their daughters, McKenna and Isabelle, and their Bernadoodle, Stanley. When he is not chairside, you may find him on the golf course, tennis court, or in a deer stand. He is an especially passionate college and professional sports fan, so catching Dr. Larkin at Allen Fieldhouse to cheer on the Jayhawks or the Enterprise Center to root for the Blues would be no surprise.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and my journey into the orthodontic profession is no different. I fell in love with the field after my first orthodontic visit at the age of 9 and found my passion for transforming smiles and making a positive impact on my patients’ lives. My attention to detail and drive for perfection is instilled in my core. These developed during childhood through my involvement in gymnastics. I continued as a collegiate gymnast and further gained an appreciation for teamwork. All of which help me to achieve the best orthodontic results for my patients.

Personal

On a personal note, my husband, Steven, and I moved to Saint Louis with our ridgeback pup, Zola, for my orthodontic residency. We fell in love with the area and decided to make it our home. The vibrant community, diverse range of activities, and amazing food have made this city a special place for us.

It is a privilege to join the team at Otto Orthodontics and to continue serving the St. Louis community. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University in Missouri and went on to complete a comprehensive three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh. During my training, I had the opportunity to learn from leading experts in biomechanics and craniofacial growth and development—experiences that have profoundly shaped my clinical philosophy. I am committed to providing personalized, evidence-based treatment that transforms smiles and changes lives.

My daughter, Sage, and our Golden Cavapoo, Scout, are excited to be returning to The Hill. Outside the office, I enjoy staying active at CycleBar and cheering Sage on at the soccer field.
